As many as 59 domestic investment projects were granted the investment licenses with the registered capital of 783 billion VND (34.1 million USD) while 6 others were given a nod to increasing their capital up to 354 billion VND (15.4 million USD).

Besides, the local authority has issued new investment licenses to 30 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects whose capitals hit 109.5 million USD and approved for adding the investment capital to 23 others with the increased value of 152.1 million USD.

Thanks to the above achievement, Bac Giang ranked sixth in the number of new registered projects and thirteenth in the total amounts of newly registration, addition, joint and purchase capitals nationwide. The major investment sector included industry, agriculture, service and trading.

To date, the province is home to 1.430 valid investment projects including 1,080 domestic investment projects totally worth 79,347 billion VND (3.45 billion USD) and 350 FDI projects with the registered capital of 4,043 million USD.
