The startup ecosystem has been formed and quickly developed in Vietnam in recent years. About 20 localities have been establishing innovation and startup support centers and nearly 100 startup accelerators and incubators are in operation nationwide.

Speaking at the event, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son stressed the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee of Bac Giang province have paid attention to promoting the roles of business persons in industrialization, modernization and international integration. 

The province has established special task forces to give consultancy and support for enterprises and business persons while concentrating on improving investment and business climate and administrative procedure reform. 

Besides, the provincial leaders regularly organize dialogues to grasp and deal with opinions, complaints and recommendations of business persons. The province also pays attention to improving responsibilities and ethnics of the public officials and strictly fighting against negative behaviour harassing businesses.

Leaders of VCCI award the certificate of “Outstanding locality in building startup ecosystem in 2023” to representatives of Bac Giang, Da Nang and Dong Nai.

In addition, the province has effectively implemented the policies to support small and medium enterprises and business households. Bac Giang province will continue innovating its growth model by exploiting intellectual property, science and technology, building and developing new business models and service products. The innovation, creativity and application of science and technology will be more improved.

At the event, the Organizing Board awarded outstanding localities and universities in building startup ecosystem in 2023 and launched the 2024 National Startup Programme. Bac Giang province was among 3 localities winning the title “outstanding locality in building startup ecosystem in 2023” (the other 2 localities including Da Nang city and Dong Nai province).

Bac Giang project enters final of National Women's Startup Contest

BAC GIANG - The Women's Startup Contest is one of the activities under the Project "Supporting women's startups in 2017 – 2025 period" approved by the Prime Minister on June 30, 2017. In 2023, the contest was launched by the Vietnam Women's Union in March with the theme "Women start businesses, promote indigenous resources".
