Bac Giang team win first prize at National Women’s Physical Training and Sports Festival

(BGO) – The Women’s Union in the northern province of Bac Giang on June 20 – 21 participated in the National Women’s Physical Training and Sports Festival held in Bac Ninh city (Bac Ninh province) to practically respond to Vietnam Health Programme and celebrate Vietnam Family Day (June 28).  

This year event was organized by Vietnam Women's Union, attracting more than 300 athletes from 42 teams from the women’s union in the provinces and cities.

Women soft volleyball team represent Bac Giang provincial Women’s Union (blue shirt) to compete at the festival.

The participants competed in four categories: soft volleyball, badminton, aerobic and flash mob dance.

Bac Giang team joined all categories with many uniform athletles and gained first prize in team event as well as two third prizes in soft volleyball and flash mob dance.

The festival aims to encourage women playing sport and practising the physical strength to follow the great President Ho Chi Minh. Also, it creates a valuable playground for women, contributing to improving their chance of exchange, living standards and spiritual lives.
