Bac Ninh approves 19 power grid projects to support industry and public demand
BAC NINH - Bac Ninh Province has approved 19 medium- and low-voltage power grid projects for 2026–2027 to strengthen electricity supply for industrial parks, industrial clusters and residential areas, according to a decision signed by Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh.
Under Decision No. 928/QD-UBND, the projects will be developed by Bac Ninh Power Company to meet rising electricity demand driven by socio-economic development, improve power supply reliability and quality, and reduce transmission losses across the province.

The investment portfolio includes 19 projects, comprising five projects to build feeder lines and transmission infrastructure serving industrial parks and industrial clusters, and 14 projects to upgrade the operation of medium- and low-voltage power grids and reduce power losses in localities across the province.
Bac Ninh Power Company will act as the investor. Funding will come from commercial loans and depreciation capital provided by Northern Power Corporation, with most projects scheduled for implementation during 2026–2027.
For projects serving industrial parks and industrial clusters, the province will prioritize power infrastructure for Thuan Thanh I Industrial Park (Phase 2), Que Vo Expansion 2 Industrial Park, and the Ngoc Van, Nenh, Danh Thang and Dong Son industrial clusters.
The projects include the construction and upgrading of medium-voltage transmission lines, underground cable systems, switching equipment and remote-control systems to increase electricity supply capacity and support industrial development.
