Under Decision No. 995/QD-UBND, the province approved the construction of a road linking National Highway 18 in Vo Cuong Ward with Provincial Road 276 in Tien Du Commune. The project carries an investment of 618.261 billion VND and is scheduled for implementation between 2027 and 2030.

The 3.58-km project includes one main route and two branch roads within the expanded Lim urban area development plan, covering nearly 23 hectares. The roads will be built to urban road standards and include supporting infrastructure.

Provincial authorities said the project is expected to facilitate the development of a university urban model and help establish a regional hub for high-quality human resource training, supporting the transition toward a knowledge-based economy.

Separately, under Decision No. 996/QD-UBND, Bac Ninh approved the construction of a 7.4-km road linking Provincial Road 286 and Provincial Road 295B across Yen Phong, Tien Du and Tam Son areas.

The project, with an investment of 2.973 trillion VND, will also be implemented during 2027-2030 and includes river bridges, interchanges and supporting facilities integrated with the existing transport network.

Once completed, the route will become a key urban transport corridor connecting Tu Son and Yen Phong, improving intra-regional connectivity and creating new space for sustainable urban development in the area.
