The meeting on August 25 was attended by AMACCAO Group, a Vietnamese company studying and promoting waste treatment and energy projects in Bac Ninh.

Bac Ninh Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai and the provincial delegation visit Jinbaoshi Group to learn about its waste treatment and energy recovery technologies.

Jinbaoshi, established in 2005, is one of Xingtai's major businesses, operating in paper production, packaging-related new materials and waste treatment and energy recovery technologies.

The group presented its development, production technologies and waste treatment solutions.

The delegation paid particular attention to its waste-to-energy model, which can address environmental and energy needs simultaneously.

Under the model, waste is sorted and reusable or recyclable materials are removed before the remaining waste is treated with appropriate technology. Heat generated during the process is recovered to produce electricity.

The system uses automation and environmental controls, helping reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill while conserving land and recovering energy from waste.

Bac Ninh currently has four operational waste-to-energy plants with a combined power generation capacity of about 36.6 MW.

The province is developing additional waste treatment and power generation projects as it moves towards a circular economy-based waste management system.

Speaking with Jinbaoshi and other businesses, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai welcomed AMACCAO's efforts to connect with Jinbaoshi and Chinese partners to study technologies and seek investment opportunities.

He said the approach would allow Vietnamese companies to access proven technologies and assess solutions suitable for Vietnam and Bac Ninh.

He encouraged AMACCAO to continue studying and promoting investment projects in Bac Ninh, particularly in waste treatment, energy and circular economy-related fields.

The Bac Ninh provincial Party Chief also called on Jinbaoshi and its partners to strengthen exchanges, share experience and technologies, and work with AMACCAO to develop models that could be effectively implemented in Bac Ninh.
