An overview of the meeting.

This is an important transshipment hub in the national logistics infrastructure, which was invested by the Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) and put into operation since December 2024, with a total area of 143.7 hectares and an investment of 3.3 trillion VND (126.89 million USD).

It is the first logistics center in Vietnam supplying a full-cycle import and export logistics service chain, covering customs clearance, quarantine, custom inspection, transshipment, warehousing and cross-border transportation.

Bac Ninh was recognized with many potentials and opportunities to cooperate in exploiting and developing logistics sector in coming time, according to Le Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of Viettel Post.

Viettel Post will soon organize a customer conference in Bac Ninh to facilitate businesses in import and export of goods, which is scheduled in the first quarter of 2026. Viettel Post is committed to providing the best services with many preferential cost policies.

On behalf of the provincial leaderships, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son stressed this working session was to realize the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on implementing the Politburo’s Resolution No 57-NQ/TW dated 22 December 2024 regarding breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

He added Bac Ninh topped the nation in export turnover in 2025 when its import activities have been implemented mainly through Lang Son border gate.

Bac Ninh is striving to become a centrally governed city, which makes the development of service sectors urgently essential. Thus, linking businesses and logistics centers in the province with Viettel – Lang Son logistics park is very significant.

The provincial leader urged related provincial departments and agencies, especially Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Construction and PPC’s Office to support Viettel in carrying out surveys to consider building a logistics center in Bac Ninh.

Besides, he requested Viettel Post to introduce businesses in Bac Ninh province about advantages and conveniences of the logistics park through customers conferences.

It was also suggested introducing and piloting advanced scientific and technological achievements, including trials of autonomous vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) in logistics services, as well as cold storage zones equipped with modern technologies to run smart warehouses, thereby enabling enterprises in Bac Ninh to access and utilize these services more easily and effectively.
