Representatives of the investor and construction contractor break ground on the 110kV transmission line project supplying power to the Yen Phong 110kV substation. |
Under the approved design, the project will build a new dual-circuit 110kV transmission line from the Bac Ninh 3 220kV substation to independently supply electricity to the Yen Phong 110kV substation, which has a capacity of 3x63MVA.
The project will also relocate the connection point of the Yen Phong substation to directly connect with the Bac Ninh 3 220kV substation in line with the approved power development plan.
In addition, telecommunications and relay protection systems between substations in the Yen Phong and Vo Cuong areas will be upgraded to ensure safe and stable grid operations after the overhaul.
The design consultant is Industrial Trade and Investment Consultancy One Member Co., Ltd., while Sao Viet Linh Manufacturing and Trading Co., Ltd. is the construction contractor. The project is expected to be completed by October 2026.
Once operational, the transmission line is expected to improve power supply reliability in Yen Phong, contribute to the completion of Bac Ninh Province’s 110kV grid infrastructure and support investment attraction and local socio-economic development.
