Industrial production value in May was estimated at more than 284.5 trillion VND (10.8 billion USD), bringing the total for January-May to over 1.1 quadrillion VND, driven largely by foreign-invested manufacturers.

Many companies in Dinh Tram Industrial Park have expanded production since the start of the year, contributing significantly to the province’s industrial growth, local authorities said.

Growth was supported by higher output of products including headsets with microphones, imported peripheral devices and recyclable waste collection services.

Authorities urged businesses to strengthen supply chain and logistics risk management amid fuel price volatility by closely coordinating with shipping companies and trading partners.

Energy-intensive firms were also encouraged to use financial tools to hedge fuel costs, invest in rooftop solar power systems and improve energy self-sufficiency to maintain stable production.
