Bac Ninh leaders meet, honour outstanding businesses, entrepreneurs
BAC NINH - The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province on October 13 held a meeting honouring businesses and entrepreneurs on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004-2025).
The event was attended by provincial leaders, representatives from various departments, agencies, business associations, and nearly 300 businesses operating in the province.

In his speech at the conference, Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, emphasised the significance of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13) each year.
This is a historic milestone that reflects the attention, recognition, and appreciation of the Party, State, and people for the role of the business community in the country's development, he said.

Tuan stated that despite complex global and domestic economic fluctuations in recent years, Bac Ninh remained steadfast in its growth targets, continuing to be one of the most dynamic provinces in the country, largely thanks to the significant and persistent contributions of the local business community.
The 1st Congress of the Bac Ninh provincial Party Organisation for the 2025-2030 term has charted strategic goals to make Bac Ninh a centrally governed city by 2030 and a green, civilised city imbued with the cultural identity of Kinh Bac by 2045.

To achieve this vision, the province has set key targets, including an average GRDP growth rate of 11-12% per year from 2026 to 2030; an average GRDP per capita of 8,700-9,200 USD; and an urbanisation rate of about 65%.
In line with this direction, Bac Ninh's local government always listen to the needs and concerns of businesses, working to create a favourable environment for their activities.

On behalf of the provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Tuan praised and expressed deep gratitude for the tireless efforts, creativity, innovation, and high social responsibility shown by the local business community and entrepreneurs.
He expressed hope that they will continue to shine, grow sustainably, and make even greater contributions to the province's socio-economic development.
On this occasion, representatives from several businesses, both domestic and foreign, expressed their confidence in Bac Ninh's investment and business environment.
At the meeting, the provincial leaders presented flowers to the representatives of business associations.

To recognise and honour pioneering and exemplary businesses and entrepreneurs in Bac Ninh, on behalf of the President of Vietnam, Chairman Tuan presented the Second-Class Labour Order to Nguyen The Hong, Director of Nam Hong Royal Museum Co., Ltd.
Additionally, the provincial leader awarded the certificates of merit to 26 businesses for their significant contributions to the state budget and active participation in charitable activities and social welfare programmes.
At the event, dozens of businesses donated a total of approximately 4 billion VND (151,785 USD) to support flood-affected communities in Bac Ninh through the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
