The event was attended by Nguyen Xuan Dinh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union, and Nguyen Thi Huong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with members of the provincial Party Standing Committee.

A total of 40 agricultural products were honored, selected from 61 nominations that met criteria for innovation, high quality, environmental friendliness, food safety, and alignment with the province’s orientation toward green, circular and organic agriculture.

Among the highlighted products were: Hong Kong-style steamed buns (Dao Vien), rice wine, Trang Toan peanut candy (Dong Nguyen), Dan Hoi dried longan (Cam Ly), special Nam The rice noodles (Nam Duong), Tien La soy sauce (Dong Viet), Da Mai pork sausage, and PTK minced pork with shrimp paste (Tien Du) as well as fresh produce such as Huu Luat pomelo, TL3 melon, Thu Que clean guava and Yen Dung potatoes.

The organizing committee also awarded certificates to winners of the 11th Farmers’ Technical Innovation Contest, including one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and four consolation prizes.

The first prize went to Nguyen Van Nam from Nam Duong commune for his solution to improve rice noodle production lines by integrating gas-powered heating, enhancing productivity and quality in the traditional craft village of Thu Duong, Nam Duong commune.

Second prizes were awarded to Vu Thi Phuong from Kep commune for developing an improved cold-drying system for pineapple products from Huong Son, and to Vu Van Nghiem from Tan An ward for his model of managing a French pigeon farm based on circular economy principles with high economic and environmental efficiency.

These innovative technical solutions have proven valuable in agriculture, livestock farming, forestry, and mechanical engineering, demonstrating creativity, economic and social efficiency, and strong potential for replication.

The event served as a meaningful platform to showcase outstanding agricultural products and technical innovations, offering farmers, organizations and businesses opportunities to promote their products, expand markets, and recognize exemplary individuals for their contributions to the province’s agricultural and rural development.
