Bac Ninh leaders visit, support workers during Labour Month
BAC NINH – The provincial leaders in Bac Ninh province visited factories and presented gifts to workers facing difficult circumstances as part of activities marking Labour Month 2026, local authorities said.
Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of Bac Ninh’s National Assembly delegation on May 7 visited KD Sports Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Hiep Hoa commune to review the company’s business operations and meet workers.

KD Sports Vietnam, a wholly South Korean-owned garment exporter established in 2007, currently employs more than 1,600 workers with an average monthly income of about 9 million VND (346 USD).
Speaking at the meeting, she praised the company’s efforts to maintain production, secure jobs and incomes, and improve employee welfare despite economic challenges.
She encouraged the company to continue expanding markets and proactively respond to fluctuations in the global economy in order to maintain stable employment and income for workers.

During the visit, the provincial leader and members of the delegation presented 100 gift packages to workers in difficult circumstances employed at the company.
Also on May 7, Tran Thi Hang, member of the provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council, visited and encouraged trade union members and employees at Peony Co., Ltd. in the VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park.
On the occasion, the provincial Federation of Labour presented 100 gift packages to trade union members and workers facing difficult circumstances at the company.
