Bac Ninh official visits enterprise, encourages workers during Labour Month
BAC NINH - Tran Huy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, attended and encouraged workers at a “Trade Union Meal” programme organised by Luxshare-ICT Vietnam Co., Ltd. as part of activities marking Vietnam’s Labour Month 2026.
The programme, held at Quang Chau Industrial Park on May 18, aimed to provide practical support for nearly 20,000 workers employed by the electronics manufacturer.

Luxshare-ICT Vietnam currently employs nearly 20,000 workers with an average monthly income of more than 9 million VND (341 USD) per person. The company fully implements insurance and welfare policies for employees, local authorities said.
The “Trade Union Meal” programme highlighted cooperation between the company and the grassroots trade union in improving workers’ welfare and living conditions.

Meal portions during the event were valued at 50,000 VND each, double the value of regular factory meals, with costs jointly covered by the company and the trade union.
The additional funding allowed workers to choose from four enhanced menus featuring more nutritious dishes, including fried chicken wings with fish sauce, roasted pork belly, stuffed bitter melon, beef stew, roasted duck and braised eggs with pork sausage, alongside rice, vegetables, soup, soft drinks and fruit.

Speaking at the event, the provincial leader Tran Huy Phuong said Labour Month represented a peak period for authorities and trade unions to demonstrate care and support for workers.
He said the programme not only provided material benefits but also reflected solidarity and shared responsibility among enterprises, trade unions and employees.
He praised the company for working closely with the trade union to improve workers’ quality of life and said such practical activities helped improve meals, living conditions and motivation for employees.
He noted that some workers still faced difficulties related to income, housing and spiritual life, calling on authorities, businesses and trade unions to continue improving salaries, welfare and cultural activities while ensuring safe and stable working environments.

The provincial official also urged trade unions to strengthen their role in protecting workers’ legitimate rights and interests and encouraged employees to comply strictly with workplace safety regulations.
During the visit, the Deputy Secretary Tran Huy Phuong and members of the delegation presented 150 gift packages to workers facing difficult circumstances.
