The fair runs for three days, from October 17 to 19, at the premises of the Bac Ninh Cooperative Alliance headquarters.

Provincial leaders cut the ribbon to open the 2025 Cooperative Fair.

Nearly 40 booths showcase and promote signature and OCOP products from local cooperatives, along with participants from other provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Lao Cai, Lang Son, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen, Ninh Binh and Nghe An. The event draws large crowds of residents and visitors.

In his opening remarks, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Phan The Tuan praised the Bac Ninh Cooperative Alliance for its efforts in trade promotion and supply-demand linkage in recent years.

He urged participating cooperatives and enterprises to strengthen partnerships, share experience, improve management capacity and product quality, and foster a spirit of cooperation for mutual growth.

The provincial leader also called on the Cooperative Alliance and relevant departments to continue enhancing support for cooperatives, promoting trade, and creating favorable conditions for sustainable development—particularly in access to finance, technology transfer and market expansion.

He encouraged media outlets to increase coverage and promotion of cooperative products to help expand their reach both within and beyond the province.

Prior to the fair, the Bac Ninh Cooperative Alliance hosted a conference on boosting trade promotion activities for the collective and cooperative economic sector.

The event included the signing of memoranda of understanding between provincial cooperative alliances and agreements on product consumption between cooperatives and businesses.

The fair is part of a series of activities celebrating the success of the first Congress of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term.

It also serves as a platform for cooperatives to exchange experiences in organization and market development, foster cooperation in production and business, and build sustainable value chains.

BAC NINH – The northern province of Bac Ninh has nearly 800 products from local businesses, cooperatives and production facilities certified under its provincial-level One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme. But only a modest portion has found its way into modern retail channels, prompting calls for producers and authorities to remove barriers and expand market reach.

Accordingly, more than 674 centres/points for the display and sale of OCOP products have been established, linked to urban centres and tourist destinations in various localities.
