VIET NAM OCOPEX 2025 featured 300 booths representing nearly 200 exhibitors. Thousands of certified One Commune One Product (OCOP) items from 34 provinces and cities across the country were on display.
These include tea, coffee, cashew nuts, handicrafts, medicinal herbs, agarwood, essential oils, turmeric powder, various agricultural and processed food products, bird’s nest, and beauty products such as shampoos, conditioners, and serums.
The fair aims to integrate OCOP items into international distribution networks, enabling deeper participation in global value chains and proactive engagement in the world economy.
It also provides a platform for OCOP producers to connect with foreign enterprises, diplomatic missions, and trade promotion organisations in Viet Nam.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, said: The “One Commune One Product” (OCOP) programme has become an important foundation for promoting rural economic development, awakening community potential, and transforming tens of thousands of traditional products.
Currently, Ha Noi has evaluated and classified 3,317 OCOP products (the leading locality and accounting for 21.3% of the country), including six 5-star products, 22 potential 5-star products, 1,571 4-star products and 1,718 3-star products.
The fair also serves as an important platform for promoting, displaying, and introducing high-quality OCOP products to a broader audience.
It allows international distributors and importers to discover that Viet Nam is home to a rich and diverse supply of premium OCOP products that meet international standards and the demands of major global distribution channels, thereby paving the way for future trade cooperation.
