The project, invested in by Lam Son Construction and Trading Co., Ltd., covers about 0.7 hectares. Under Decision No. 904/QD-UBND dated June 30, 2026, the project will comprise a 19-storey social housing apartment building with one basement.

The building will have a total floor area of about 59,492 square metres and is expected to provide around 490 apartments ranging from 25 to 77 square metres.

The first three floors will house commercial and service facilities, community spaces, shared amenities and technical facilities, while apartments will occupy floors four to 19.

The project will include comprehensive transport and technical infrastructure, internal roads, landscaping, power and water supply, stormwater and wastewater drainage, fire prevention and firefighting systems, and telecommunications infrastructure.

Total investment is estimated at more than 805.8 billion VND (30.7 million USD), including 165 billion VND in the investor's equity and more than 640.8 billion VND from loans and other legally mobilised sources.

Speaking at the ceremony,Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Municipal People’s Committee Pham Van Thinh said the project would help implement the Party, State and Government's policy of developing at least 1 million social housing apartments and improving housing conditions for workers, labourers and low-income people.

The investor mobilises workers and machinery for the project groundbreaking ceremony.

Bac Ninh is currently implementing 76 urban development projects and 65 social housing and commercial housing projects, he said.

Alongside developing green, modern and ecological urban areas, the city is placing particular emphasis on social housing, targeting 135,000 apartments during 2025-2030 to gradually build up an affordable housing supply that meets residents' needs.

Once completed, the social housing project in Residential Area No. 3 is expected to add affordable homes for nearly 1,000 people and contribute to creating a safe, convenient and modern living environment.
