Industry and construction remained the main driver of growth, expanding 12.55% in the first half, while the services sector grew 8.18% on the back of improving market conditions and consumer demand.
Agriculture, forestry and fisheries edged up 0.4%, constrained by unfavorable weather conditions, while taxes less subsidies on products increased 5.14%.
The province's economic structure continued to shift in line with its strategy for rapid and sustainable development.
Industry and construction retained the largest share of the economy, while the services sector continued to expand and play an increasingly important role alongside industrialization and urbanization.
Despite challenges facing industrial production, timely adaptation by businesses and effective policy implementation by local authorities helped maintain stable manufacturing activity, allowing the sector to remain a key contributor to economic growth.
Electronics component manufacturing, which accounts for a significant share of Bac Ninh's industrial output, recorded strong growth, supported by higher production at major manufacturers including Fukang, Canon, Fuhong and New Wing.
To sustain double-digit economic growth, provincial authorities said they will continue implementing coordinated measures, focusing on attracting investment, improving the business environment and creating new momentum for socio-economic development.
