Speaking at the workshop on September 9, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, the meritorious teacher and rector of Bac Ninh College of Electromechanics and Construction (BCEC) stressed promoting cooperation among vocational training facilities and foreign partners and enterprises is a significant step to improve training quality, enlarge study, practice and internship environment and provide more job opportunities for students in the context of international integration with increasing demand of labour market.

According to the cooperation programme, both colleges will focus on training high-quality human resources in modern technology sectors starting with 2 associate-college majors including electrical automation technology and industrial robotics technology at an annual enrollment capacity of 70 students.

Those fulfilling adequate conditions of the training programmes will receive associate degrees by Yantai Vocational College.

The training programme will last 3 years. Students will study at BCEC for the 1st year, then study at Yantai Vocational College for the 2nd year and undergo internship in enterprises to practice in real-world working environment and develop international work skills for the 3rd year.

Remarkably, students will study Chinese from the 1st academic year. They must achieve at least HSK3 level before going to China and attain HSK4 level or higher to meet the graduation requirements.

According to the information provided at the workshop, the first training course will be supported with 100 percent of tuition fees by Yantai Vocational College during the training period in China.

Besides, students gaining good academic achievements will have opportunities to get scholarships from the partner college.

In addition, HaiZhiChen Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Company Limited shared information about the internship programmes, student assistance activities and job opportunities at their company.

Through this approach, students are guided to develop their professional expertise, occupational skills, foreign-language proficiency, sense of discipline, professional attitude and practical work experience.

This workshop contributed to strengthening cooperation among BCEC, Yantai Vocational College and enterprises while opening new doors for students to learn, practice and develop their future careers.

Under the message “International training, global careers”, the programme was expected to provide students with knowledge, work skills, foreign languages, practical experience and work capacity in international environment.
