The session on July 15 was chaired by Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with Vice chairpersons Tran Thi Hang, Lam Thi Huong Thanh, Nghiem Xuan Huong and Nguyen Anh Tuan.

In his opening remarks, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyen Viet Oanh called on delegates to uphold responsibility, democracy and constructive debate to help refine policy decisions and meet the expectations of voters and residents.

According to the agenda, delegates reviewed reports on socio-economic performance in the first half of 2026 and discussed tasks and solutions for the remainder of the year.

The session also heard appraisal reports on draft resolutions and submissions within the remit of the council's committees, as well as a report from the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on public feedback and recommendations gathered during the first six months of the year.

Based on the reports and proposals presented, the provincial legislature is expected to discuss and vote on 41 draft resolutions covering key issues related to local development and governance.
