The province’s industrial production index rose 16.45% year-on-year in the ten-month period, while total industrial output value reached 1.99 quadrillion VND, up 13.64%.
The expansion of manufacturing and trade has fueled export growth. Bac Ninh has maintained its leading position in import and export turnover nationwide since July.
In October alone, the province’s import-export value was estimated at 19.2 billion USD, including exports worth more than 9.42 billion USD, representing nearly 22.4% of Vietnam’s total export turnover.
Cumulatively, in the first ten months of 2025, Bac Ninh’s exports were estimated at 77.4 billion USD, up 32.3% from the same period last year and accounting for 19.7% of the country’s total exports (77.4/391 billion USD).
Imports were valued at 72.5 billion USD, up 38.6%. This resulted in a trade surplus of 4.9 billion USD, equivalent to a quarter of Vietnam’s total trade surplus (4.9/19.56 billion USD).
Bac Ninh’s success underscores its pivotal role in Vietnam’s export-led economy. The province has emerged as one of the country’s largest industrial and manufacturing hubs, contributing significantly to national trade growth and industrial output.
