BAC NINH - Bac Ninh province aims to welcome between 6.5 million and 7 million tourist arrivals in 2026, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
To meet the target, the department is advising the provincial People’s Committee to develop a master plan for tourism development for the 2026–2030 period, with a vision to 2050, while continuing to implement existing resolutions, schemes and plans on tourism development for 2025–2030.

Authorities will urge localities and relevant units to accelerate the planning of community-based tourism sites, step up communications, promotion and tourism marketing linked to cultural diplomacy, and organise a competition to design the province’s tourism logo and slogan.
The province will also maintain and effectively operate its smart tourism management system and official tourism website, while creating favourable conditions for travel companies to expand markets and connect local attractions into inter-provincial tours and routes. Plans also include developing educational tourism programmes for students.
In addition, Bac Ninh will organise a number of large-scale events such as tourism promotion conferences, a “sweet fruit season” tourism week, and survey and promotional activities highlighting traditional craft villages, fruit-growing areas and local specialty agricultural products.
In 2025, the province welcomed about 6.3 million visitors, up 26% year on year and equivalent to 112.5% of its annual target. Total tourism revenue reached about 5.5 trillion dong, an increase of 13% from the previous year, exceeding the plan.
