The Bac Ninh delegation competed with 29 athletes and three officials and coaches.

Bac Ninh athletes deliver an outstanding performance at the tournament, securing first place in the overall standings.

With thorough preparation and strong determination, Bac Ninh athletes demonstrated solid skills and consistent performances across multiple weight categories, winning a total of 25 medals, including 12 gold, eight silver and five bronze medals.

The result helped Bac Ninh surpass strong teams such as Thai Nguyen and Ho Chi Minh City to top the overall standings.

Organized by the Viet Nam Sports Authority in coordination with the Quang Ngai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the tournament took place from July 2 to July 12 and attracted nearly 300 athletes from 15 provinces and cities nationwide.

Athletes competed in two age groups: youth (born between 2008 and 2011) and juniors (born between 2012 and 2015), across 46 men's and women's weight categories.

The tournament serves as an important platform to assess the quality of young athlete training programmes while contributing to the preservation and promotion of rod pushing, one of Viet Nam's traditional sports.
