Bac Ninh wins three medals at 2025 National Team Shuttlecock Championship
BAC NINH – Bac Ninh athletes won three medals, including one gold, at the 2025 National Team Shuttlecock Championship, which concluded on October 23 at the provincial gymnasium in Bac Giang ward.
The men’s team final between hosts Bac Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City was fiercely contested.

After winning the opening match, Bac Ninh lost the second, forcing a decisive third game. Demonstrating strong determination and teamwork, the Bac Ninh players edged out their rivals 2–1 to secure the gold medal.
After five days of competition, the championship wrapped up with several high-quality matches. The event, held from October 19 to 23, attracted 236 athletes from 10 provinces and cities nationwide.

Competitors took part in seven team events: men’s team, women’s team, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, men’s singles, and women’s singles.
Teams from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City topped the medal tally with five medals each (two golds, one silver, and two bronzes). Dong Thap ranked third with four medals (two golds, one silver, and one bronze).

Bac Ninh’s delegation, consisting of 16 athletes, finished fourth overall with a total of three medals: one gold in the men’s team category, one silver in the men’s doubles, and one bronze in the men’s singles.
