Thanks to trade promotion and market-linkage activities, many products from Han Thi Trading and Services Cooperative, owned by Han Thi Luyen in Trung Kenh Commune, have reached consumers at home and abroad. |
The establishment produces herbal teas, including raspberry leaf tea, a 10-herb traditional tea blend, lotus and guava leaf tea, and fish mint and pennywort tea.
The products use natural ingredients and target consumers interested in health and wellness.
Alongside efforts to maintain product quality, Dung promotes her products on TikTok, Shopee and the shop's fan page.
Regularly posted photos and videos allow customers to learn about raw material sources, production processes and product use without visiting the premises, improving transparency and building consumer trust.
In the first half of 2026, Chan Que tea shop generated about 40 billion VND (1.5 million USD) in revenue and provided jobs for 30-50 female workers, each earning around 10 million VND per month.
Recently, the Women's Union of Dong Nguyen Ward organised a livestream titled “The essence of Dong Ky fine-art woodwork – Heritage in motion and new vitality” at the showroom of Duc Thang Fine-art Wood Company.
The event brought together artisans, business representatives and local officials. Beyond promoting and selling products online, it gave viewers insights into the selection of materials, shaping, decorative carving and finishing techniques.
Demonstrations highlighted the craftsmanship, attention to detail and experience accumulated by Dong Ky artisans over many years.
Nguyen Thi Mai, Director of Duc Thang Fine-art Wood Company, said digital platforms had created additional channels for businesses to showcase products, provide information and interact with customers in different areas.
Previously, customers had mainly discovered the company's products through its shop, personal recommendations or direct visits.
Ngo Thi Phuong Thanh, Chairwoman of the Dong Nguyen Ward Women's Union, said the livestream was a practical way to help female members adopt new business methods and adapt to digital transformation.

As e-commerce and online business continue to grow, the city's Women's Union has identified digital skills as a practical means of supporting women in starting businesses and developing existing operations.
Working with relevant organisations, the union provides training in developing startup projects and refining business models, using information technology to manage businesses, producing promotional photos and videos, marketing through social media and selling on e-commerce platforms.
These activities help women gain the knowledge and skills needed to reach customers, promote products and identify new market opportunities.
Vu Thi An, Vice Chairwoman of the city's Women's Union, said 233 women-led startup and business expansion projects in Bac Ninh had received startup loans totalling more than 91 billion VND.
To implement the city's 2026-2035 programme supporting women's entrepreneurship, Bac Ninh has allocated an additional 100 billion VND from the state budget, channelled through the local branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to provide loans for women starting businesses.
Combining financial assistance with training in business skills and product promotion is helping women develop their strengths and turn business ideas into reality, An said.
Digital technology is particularly useful for women-owned household businesses and small enterprises seeking to improve marketing, reach more customers and increase business efficiency.
The Women's Union plans to continue publicising policies supporting female entrepreneurship, business development and the collective economy.
It will also strengthen training, consultancy and resource-mobilisation activities, with a focus on communications, brand promotion, personal branding and the effective use of digital platforms suited to individual business models.
By combining financial support, practical training and digital marketing, Bac Ninh is seeking to help women-owned businesses expand their customer base, bring local products to wider markets and create more sustainable business opportunities.
