Binh Duong province supports Bac Giang to overcome consequences of natural disasters
BAC GIANG - Responding to the Action Month for the Poor in 2024, the Red Cross Society of Binh Duong province on November 8 organized a gift-giving program in Phong Van commune (Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province) to support disadvantaged families affected by storm No. 3 in the communes of Phong Van, Cam Son, Kim Son, Sa Ly, Phong Minh, Tan Son (all in Luc Ngan district).
The representative of the Red Cross of Bac Giang province informed the delegates about the damage caused by storm No. 3 in the province in general and Luc Ngan district in particular with total loss of more than 5 trillion VND.

Immediately after the natural disaster, Bac Giang province promptly directed the work of overcoming the consequences, visited, encouraged and supported the affected families.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of the Binh Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, shared the losses and difficulties that the people of Bac Giang experienced due to storm No. 3.
He hoped that the sentiments and sharing of the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Duong province at this program would be a source of encouragement, support and contribution to the people of Bac Giang province in general and Luc Ngan district in particular to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

The delegates presented 300 gifts to disadvantaged households affected by storm No. 3, each gift worth 4.4 million VND (including 3.2 million VND in cash and some necessities). The total value of the program hit more than 1.2 billion VND.
Previously, the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Duong province donated nearly 5.7 billion VND in cash and kind to Bac Giang.
BAC GIANG - On October 19, the working delegation from Ben Tre province and Can Tho city visited, encouraged and supported Bac Giang province to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.
BAC GIANG - From voluntary donation to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, the Bac Giang Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee in Bac Giang province has just allocated 55 billion VND (2.36 million USD) in the second phase of support for 9 districts and township.
BAC GIANG - A delegation from Dong Nai province led by Nguyen Hong Linh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC) on October 4 visited Bac Giang province to encourage and support victims of storm No.3. The delegates were received by Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee.
BAC GIANG - To support customers who are borrowing capital to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, at this time, some banks in the northen province of Bac Giang have implemented solutions such as temporarily pausing interest collection and reducing interest rates for affected customers.
BAC GIANG – The Relief Mobilization Committee in Bac Giang province has just held a meeting to review and estimate the allocation of the second phase of support from donated funding and materials to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3 as well as finalize a number of other important contents under the responsibility of the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee.
