The event was jointly held by the provincial Steering Committee for Blood Donation Campaigns and local committees in four communes of Hiep Hoa, Hop Thinh, Xuan Cam and Hoang Van under the message “Donating blood, saving lives.”

It drew large numbers of volunteers, including officials, youth union members, workers, armed forces personnel and local residents from agencies, schools and organizations across the area.

Donors contributed blood in volumes of 250 ml, 350 ml and 450 ml. Many participants were repeat donors, having given blood between 15 and 20 times.

All donors underwent health checks and received gifts. The process, including registration, screening and medical consultation, was carried out in a strict and scientific manner to ensure safety.

The collected blood was transferred to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion for emergency care and treatment.

The annual event aims to promote humanitarian values and spread the message “Every drop donated, a life saved,” contributing to healthcare efforts and bringing hope to patients in need.
