The gold medals were won by Luong Nhu Quynh in the women’s 78kg category and the duo Dam Duy Ky and Nguyen Cong Ha in the Kime No Kata event. The silver medal went to Nguyen Minh Hoan Huy and Dam Duy Ky in the Kodokan Goshin Jutsu category.

Bronze medals were claimed by Nguyen Thi Trang (women’s 48kg), Tran Minh Duc (men’s 50kg), the pair Nguyen Xuan Ton and Nguyen Cong Ha Huy (Katame No Kata), and Nguyen Minh Luc and Phung Gia Hy (Kodokan Goshin Jutsu).

The championships, jointly organized by the Can Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Judo Federation, took place from April 1 to 7, drawing more than 500 coaches and athletes from 17 clubs nationwide.

The duo Dam Duy Ky and Nguyen Cong Ha receive the gold medal in the Kime No Kata event.

Competitors contested 30 sets of medals across men’s and women’s individual bouts (18 weight classes), team events (10 weight classes), and kata disciplines. Bac Ninh fielded a delegation of two coaches and 11 athletes.

The event served as an opportunity to assess training and athlete development efforts among participating units, as they prepare for the 10th National Sports Games and international judo competitions in 2026.
