Previously, the Chinese traders were picked up by the People’s Committee in Luc Ngan district to the isolated site. During 14 days of isolation, the traders were sufficiently provided with their accommodation demand and had their health checked.

After the period, all 21 persons tested negative to SARS-CoV-2 virus twice and now stay healthy.

According to Vice Chairman of the district People’s Committee Nguyen The Thi, totally 379 Chinese traders registered to come to buy lychee in Luc Ngan district. Now, the district welcomes 113 people while others are proceeding the procedure to the area to buy the fruits.

The province has more than 300 lychee weighting points, 154 of which are set up in Luc Ngan district.

Most of Vietnamese traders and some Chinese ones (who came to Vietnam to buy dragon fruit before the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic) are now supporting and linking to Hung Thao Company Limited in Luc Ngan district to buy the lychee.

Over 37 tonnes of lychee sold via MoMo pocket

(BGO) – After one week selling Luc Ngan lychee online via MoMo pocket, to date over 37 tonnes of fruits have been sold online to customers in Ho Chi Minh city.

Bustling atmosphere in ripe lychee season

In the early days of June, people in the two districts of Thanh Ha (Hai Duong province) and Luc Ngan (Bac Giang province) harvest lychees in a husty and eager manner. The 2020 crop is looking to to be a fruitful season for lychee farmers, with production levels and selling prices both increasing. 

Bac Giang lychee well consumed at supermarkets and restaurants

(BGO) – As of June 14, Bac Giang province has sold more than 54,000 tonnes of lychee. Apart from the foreign markets, many provinces, cities, big wholesales markets nationwide, the fruits are now well consumed at many supermarkets and restaurants in the province.    

Lychee consumed to export to US market

(BGO) – Vina T&T Group on June 11 started buying lychees in Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province) to export to the US. 

Fresh lychee preservation procedure completed

(BGO) – According to the Department of Science and  Technology (Bac Giang province), Vietnam Institute of Agricultural Engineering & Post-Harvest Technology has completed the technological procedure for the Israeli Juran’s system to classify and treat the fresh lychee.
