Deal signed to boost high-tech vocational training

Updated: 10:31, 05/01/2026

BAC NINH - Vietnam-Korea College of Technology in Bac Giang (VK-Tech), South Korea’s Kyungwoon University and Letuin High-Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd have signed a cooperation agreement to develop high-tech vocational training programmes in 2026 and the following period from 2027 to 2030.

Under the agreement, the three sides will focus on opening new training programmes in the semiconductor industry, promoting student exchanges and jointly developing scientific research initiatives.

Representatives of the three institutions agree on the cooperation terms at the signing ceremony.

VK-Tech and Kyungwoon University will facilitate student exchanges, allowing learners from both institutions to enroll in joint training courses.

Letuin High-Tech Vietnam will provide opportunities for students to undertake internships and practical training in integrated circuit and semiconductor manufacturing, enabling them to strengthen professional knowledge and skills on advanced production lines.

Kyungwoon University is among South Korea’s leading higher education institutions, with international student exchange programmes considered one of its key strengths.

Letuin High-Tech Vietnam operates in five core sectors, including semiconductors, display technology, electric motors and vehicles, secondary batteries, and pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

The tripartite cooperation is expected not only to improve training quality but also to expand links in science and technology, creating favorable conditions for businesses seeking to explore investment opportunities in Bac Ninh.

The northern province is seen as having major advantages in industry, infrastructure, investment climate and a high-quality workforce.
