Speaking at the conference from Bac Giang province, the PPC's permanent Vice Chairman Mai Son briefed on the potentials, strengths and investment opportunities of the province.

He requested MOFA, Vietnamese Ambassadors and Consuls General abroad to continue paying attention to and support Bac Giang province in promoting its image to international friends, providing mechanism in information exchange between Bac Giang province and Vietnam Embassies, Consulates General and diplomatic representative agencies abroad for organizations, enterprises and investors to grasp information to boost timely and effective cooperation.

Besides, they were requested to support the province in establishing cooperative ties with foreign localities, connecting with overseas Vietnamese community, businesspersons and intellectuals including Bac Giang-origin people to call for investment and cooperation in consumption of the province’s key farm products.

The Vice Chairman requested the Vietnam Embassies, Consulates General and diplomatic representative agencies abroad to support the province to attract global enterprises and corporations with huge financial capacity, stable and long-term investment intention in the locality matching the industrial development orientation of the province following the “industrial ecological system” model combining industrial parks with urban and service areas with integrated and modern technical and social infrastructure.

They were asked to strengthen collaboration with the province to implement trade promotion activities especially for the province’s key and signature farm products such as lychee, poultry, canned fruits and veggies, grape fruits, handicraft products and major industrial products.

Besides, the provincial leader hoped to receive support in trademark protection registration of some key products of the province in different markets while expanding export market to the countries including Japan, US, India and European countries and other potential markets.

The industrial parks in Bac Giang province are synchronously invested. The investment climate has many incentives to facilitate investors.

In addition, the provincial Vice Chairman expected the delegates to introduce the province prestigious research institutions and enterprises to cooperate in technology transfer in high-tech agricultural production, food processing and preservation, pharmaceutical technology, environmental treatment and digital technology. 

Besides, they were required to support the schools and training institutions of the province to approach the scholarship programmes of the prestigious universities and educational institutions worldwide to improve human resource training quality of the province.

The Vietnamese Ambassadors and Consuls Generals abroad in 2021-2024 tenure committed to accompany and support the localities and enterprises in connecting, promoting their potentials, attracting investment and fostering international integration for socio-economic development of the localities in coming time.
