Hanoi Agriculture Fair promotes OCOP products

The Hanoi Agriculture Fair 2022 kicked off at Aeon Mall Long Bien on August 5, showcasing “One Commune, One Product” (OCOP) products from 19 cities and provinces nationwide.

•30 products of Bac Giang displayed at outstanding OCOP fair

•18 craft village products receive OCOP certificate

•Due attention paid to creating OCOP product with Bac Giang trademark

The event featured 80 booths introducing many OCOP products which have been well-received by consumers, such as Thai Nguyen tea, vermicelli and dried mushrooms of Lao Cai and Cao Bang province, and ST25 rice.

Assorted online activities to help link up producers and buyers are also taking place via the website nongsanantoanhanoi.gov.vn.

The four-day fair is co-organised by the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) and AEON Vietnam Group, to support firms seeking business opportunities and gaining broader foreign market access through the Aeon retail network in Vietnam, while advertising OCOP products of Hanoi and other Vietnamese localities to customers.

It is held within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Hanoi municipal People's Committee and Japan's AEON Group, targeting to raise the export turnover of Vietnamese goods through AEON Malls to 1 billion USD by 2025.

Bac Giang works to bring OCOP products into modern retail system

(BGO) - The One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme has helped improve the value of agricultural products and increase income for farmers. To further improve economic efficiency, together with relevant agencies, local authorities and OCOP product owners in Bac Giang province have actively sought partners to bring products into the modern retail system.

(BGO) – To promote the role of Farmers’ Association in developing commodity agricultural products, in 2022 all levels of the provincial Farmers’ Association in Bac Giang province registered to instruct and support 50 product under One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme.

Earning higher stars for OCOP products

(BGO) - The One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme implemented in Bac Giang province in recent years has achieved encouraging results. However, the upgrading (earning higher stars) of OCOP products needs more attention in the near future.
