Hau Giang Province supports Bac Giang people to overcome typhoon Yagi’s aftermath
BAC GIANG - On September 30, a delegation of the People's Council of Hau Giang province led by Ma Thi Tuoi, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, visited Bac Giang and presented funds to support local people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi).
The delegates were received by Lam Thi Huong Thanh, Member of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council and Dinh Duc Canh, Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Despite early prevention measures, super storm No. 3 accompanied by heavy rain and strong winds swept through Bac Giang province and caused casualties and property damage of about 5 trillion VND.
Up to now, the whole province has received nearly 100 billion VND from many sources, including support from the Central Government, provinces, cities and people at home and abroad.
At the meeting, Ma Thi Tuoi said that with the consensus of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the Hau Giang Provincial People's Council organized a working delegation to visit and present 500 million VND to support storm’s victims in Bac Giang.
She deeply expressed her sympathy to Bac Giang, especially those suffering severe loss and hoped that Bac Giang province would quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize life soon, restore production and continue to have socio-economic development.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Lam Thi Huong Thanh respectfully thanked Hau Giang province for the sentiments, gestures and support to Bac Giang.
Bac Giang considered this an important resource to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, so it will be used, allocated to the right subjects, publicly, transparently, strictly complying with legal regulations.
