The North-South trunk road construction project was approved by the Chairman of Hiep Hoa District People's Committee in June 2021 with the District Management Board of Investment and Construction Project as the investor.

The road totally stretches about 8.4 km with total investment of about 480 billion VND (20.5 million USD). The starting point is at Residential Area No. 3 in Thang town while the ending point intersects with provincial road 398 in Huong Lam commune.

After more than 2 years of construction, so far the road has been basically completed and met conditions for technical open to traffic.

The renovating and upgrading project of provincial road 295 was approved by the Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee in June 2022 and the Department of Transport of Bac Giang province was investor. It had a total investment of about 97 billion VND. The road surface was widened from 8m to 11m and paved with asphalt concrete. Locations passing through residential areas on both sides of the route are arranged with a load-bearing vertical box sewer system to ensure drainage of road surface water. To date, the project has been completed.

These two projects help connect the district's central area with Bac Ninh province, Hanoi City and the key localities to be industrial and service areas of the district and the Western region of Bac Giang province; increase the attractiveness of domestic and foreign investors, create conditions to attract investment resources for local socio-economic development.

In the future, Hiep Hoa district will have many opportunities to attract investment in the fields of trade - services, industry, construction, urban areas so as to accelerate the socio-economic development of the whole region.

Nearly 7.5 million USD invested in upgrading provincial road 295

Bac Giang – The Management Board of Traffic and Agriculture Construction and Investment Project in Bac Giang province has prepared conditions to commence the provincial road 295, the section from Ben Tuan bridge to Cao Thuong township and from Cao Thuong township to Bi Noi bridge (Tan Yen district) in this October.

Over 6 million USD invested in building belt road of Tay Yen Tu township

(BGO) – To perfect the transport planning and create complete transport network, during 2023 – 2026 period, the People’s Committee in Son Dong district, Bac Giang province will spend nearly 140 billion VND (over 6 million USD) from local budget to build the belt road of Tay Yen Tu township (Project) from Vot waterfall to Son Dong 3 Highschool.

Over 16 billion VND spent to repair national road No 31

(BGO)- The provincial Department of Transportation has launched repairing the road foundation, road surface and other construction on the national road No 31, the segment from Km 46+00 to Km 47+900 in Luc Ngan district. 

Nearly 903,000 USD invested in repairing provincial road 291

(BGO) – The repairing project of road bed, surface and utilities on provincial road No.291, the section from Km19 + 550 to Km25 passing Son Dong district (Bac Giang province) has been accepted to put in operation.

Hiep Hoa constructs road to link provincial road No.296 to belt road No.4

(BGO) – Hiep Hoa district in Bac Giang province has focused on land clearance for construction of the route to link the provincial road No.296 to Hanoi belt road No.4 which stretches about 6.3km with total cost of over 309 billion VND (13.1 million USD) from the district budget.
