Incheon Union Federation works with Bac Giang Labour Federation

(BGO) – The working delegation from the Union Federation in Incheon city, Republic of Korea (RoK) lead by General Secretary Yun-Ju Cho on August 1 visited and worked with the Labour Federation in Bac Giang city.

Chairman of the provincial Labour Federation Nguyen Van Canh briefed the guest on local socio-economic situation with 1,340 investment projects. Particularly, RoK ranks first in the number of investment projects to Bac Giang with 321 projects and second in total registered capital of nearly 1.4 billion USD. RoK businesses contribute 21.3 percent to the provincial budget, 150 of which established trade union with nearly 63,000 members.

Also he introduced about the organization and operation of the provincial Labour Federation with 1,845 grassroots unions and over 270,000 members. 

For years, all levels of union in the province have actively joined hands in building, revising and supplementing to several drafts relating to labour policies; taking care of material and physical lifes for trade unionist and labours; launching emulative movements among employees to help them affirm ability and creativeness to gradually raise the position of workers.
