Luc Ngan earns over 144.4 million USD from lychee production
This year, the district grew more than 17,300 hectares of lychee with total productivity of over 128,000 tonnes (up about 2,000 tonnes comparing to last year figure). Over 13,300 hectares of lychee were developed in line with VietGAP procedure (up 396 hectares), accounting for 77 percent of total area.

The district sold all lychees with total production value of 3,324 billion VND (over 144.4 million USD), including 890 billion VND from domestic consumption and 2,434 billion VND from export.
The district also welcomed about 230,000 tourist arrivals on ripe lychee season, including 225,000 domestic visitors and 5,000 foreigners, up 130,000 turns over last year.
Speaking at the event, Secretary of the district Party Committee Nguyen Viet Oanh pressed on prominent impressions in this year lychee crop. In spite of prolong drought, the district had a bumper harvest season in the third consecutive year with breakthrough progress in product quality which met export condition to demanding markets.
