Regarding the construction planning of a new urban area in Nham Bien town, Yen Dung district by Hoa Phat Group on an area of nearly 178 hectares, the Group proposed to build a new multi-functional urban complex meeting people’s demands for living, working, entertainment and study based on the advantages and potentials of the locality. With this initiative, the new center of Nham Bien will be awaken to become an attractive and dynamic destination.

Besides, the participants were reported the proposals for detailed planning at scale 1/500 of Ho Cao ecological, resort, sports and entertainment tourism complex in Lang Giang district, planning of the subdivision of Nham Bien mountain range at scale of 1/2000 in the communes of Dong Son (Bac Giang city), Tan Lieu and Tien Phong (Yen Dung district), detailed planning at scale 1/500 of Khuon Than Lake ecological and sport tourism site (Luc Ngan district) and detailed construction planning of a smart urban area in Huong Gian commune (Yen Dung district).

After looking at the planning schemes, the provincial Party Secretary Duong Van Thai stressed, planning of the new urban areas should be integrated and modernized. Regarding the planning of the new urban area in Nham Bien town, he noted the main traffic route must be adjusted to heighten the cross section to 40 metre. The connecting urban areas must have frontage roads. In addition, shophouse, park and entertainment areas must be included to serve local people and people in neighbor areas.

He assigned the Department of Construction to collaborate with the consultant and Yen Dung district to make plan to build the provincial stadium in Yen Dung district because it has advantages in cross- regional linkage. Yen Dung district was requested to review and adjust the general planning of Nham Bien town as a basis to implement the detailed planning of new Nham Bien urban area.

Regarding the planning of the subdivision of Nham Bien mountain range, he stressed this area is endowed with beautiful landscapes with big ecological value. Thus, he ordered to limit earthworks on implementing the project. Yen Dung district needs to strictly manage Nham Bien mountain range to protect the “green lung” of the area. Besides, it is necessary to ensure traffic connection between the sub-division, other areas and existing residential areas.

The provincial leader ordered traffic connection and expansion of the frontage roads creating beautiful space for Nui Cao ecological, resort, sport and entertainment tourism complex. The resettlement areas for affected households must be large enough for local people to settle down.

He stressed, Khuon Than Lake is an invaluable ecological work with big potentials for tourism development. Hence, he urged to promptly make the list of investment projects in line with establishing investment policy. Land clearance should be implemented in Q2 and Q3 2022 with detailed implementation schedules.
