Updated: 21:45, 01/11/2026

To mark the 950th anniversary of the establishment of the Temple of Literature (1076–2026), the Centre for Cultural and Scientific Activities at the Temple of Literature, in collaboration with the French Embassy, the French Institute in Viet Nam and Ha Noi Architectural University, will hold a launch ceremony for a new visitor map and guide leaflet at the Temple of Literature heritage site on November 3.

The two new products are being introduced to make it easier for visitors to find their way around and learn about the site's history, architecture, and cultural and educational values.

The grounds of the Special National Relic Site of the Temple of Literature.

Covering an area of more than 54,000 square metres, the Temple of Literature comprises multiple layers of historical space and a system of structures, each with its own significance.

The development of visual guidance tools is therefore expected to help the public take a more active role in exploring the heritage site.

The overall map will provide information about the spatial layout, the locations of individual structures and the main visitor attractions, enabling visitors to orient themselves more easily and choose suitable routes.

The leaflet will introduce basic information about the site's history and formation, its architecture, historical figures associated with the relic, and the outstanding cultural and educational values of the Temple of Literature.

By combining maps, images and concise explanatory content, the two products aim to provide a visual and user-friendly approach, helping visitors not only explore the structures but also gain a better understanding of the historical context and the values preserved at the heritage site.
