At the meeting, Kang Euisik introduced about Samsung Display Vietnam Company Limited (SDV) to PPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son.

SDV was established on 1 July 2014 with a total investment capital of 8.3 billion USD. The company produces screens for electronic devices, employing about 26,600 workers including 130 foreign workers.

Besides, Kang Euisik expected to receive continuous attention and support from the province for the company development.

Speaking at the working session, PPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son was delighted to welcome Kang Euisik and the delegation. He also briefed the guests on some outstanding results in the province’s socio-economic development.

The PPC Chairman expected Samsung to continue expanding its production and business in Bac Ninh province while playing the role as a bridge to invite more foreign enterprises especially those from Republic of Korea to invest in the province.

He expressed his thanks to SDV for their support in social welfare activities in the province, particularly helping disadvantaged children, disaster remedy and providing training to improve human resource quality.

He affirmed Bac Ninh always respects the businesses and commits to accompanying and supporting them to timely resolve recommendations and obstacles.

* On the same day, PPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son received the Representative Office of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) in Vietnam headed by Lim Hyun-Seong, Chief Representative.

Lim Hyun-Seong briefed on some outstanding performance results of LH. It is a state-owned corporation belonging to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea, which was established in 2010 with legal capital of 40 trillion KRW (around 29 billion USD).

In Bac Ninh, the corporation is carrying out surveys and preparing dossiers for approval of investment policy of the southeast urban area project with a total investment of 19.780 trillion VND (749.185 million USD), covering an area of around 240 hectares in the wards of Vu Ninh, Phuong Lieu and Nhan Hoa.

Lim Hyun-Seong hoped that PPC Chairman of Bac Ninh province would continue paying attention and facilitating the company to accelerate the project progress.

PPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son expressed his pleasure to welcome Lim Hyun-Seong and the delegation. He believed that with the potential and experience of the corporation in construction sector, the cooperative ties between both sides will become more tightened, especially in building smart cities, housing and high-quality industries.
