Project of Da Huong thousand year old tree wins first prize at Science and Technology Contest in Bac Giang city

(BGO) – The Division of Education and Training in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province) has recently announced the result of the Science and Technology Contest for students at Secondary School in Bac Giang city in the academic year 2019 – 2020.

The first prize was awarded to the group of students Vu Huong Giang and Nguyen Khanh Linh in Le Quy Don Secondary School with the project “Preserving and promoting value of thousand year old Da Huong (camphor) tree” under the category of social and behavior science.

Project of Vu Huong Giang and Nguyen Khanh Linh in Le Quy Don Secondary School wins first prize at the contest.

The contest kicked off on November 12 at Le Quy Don Secondary School, drawing 33 projects submitted by 66 candidates from 17 secondary schools in the city.

According to the Division of Education and Training, this year the secondary schools well prepared for the contest, selected typical projects from school level to enter the higher round. Most of the projects were executed creatively that approached to practical issues to the social life such as environmental protection, tourism development, healthcare and workforce liberation.

Concluding, the contest awarded 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 7 third prizes and 12 consolidation prizes.
