Provincial leaders extend Christmas greetings to Diocese of Bac Ninh

(BGO) - On the occasion of Christmas 2020, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Anh Duong visited and extended Christmas greetings to bishops and priests at the Diocese of Bac Ninh on the afternoon of December 22.

Duong briefed on the socio-economic situation in 2020 of the province with many outstanding results. He emphasized that these outcomes have been made with significant contributions by the Catholics.

Celebrating Christmas 2020, the provincial leader wished Catholic bishops, priests and dignitaries good health. He hoped that they will continue to actively encourage parishioners to comply with the Party's guidelines and the State’s laws, keep the solidarity between Catholics and non-Catholics, lead a good religious life, and join hands to build a rich and beautiful homeland in Bac Giang.
On behalf of the Diocese, Bishop Cosma Hoang Van Dat thanked the leaders of Bac Giang province for their care, and expressed his belief in the growing relationship between the authorities and the Vietnam Catholic Church. The Catholic community will unite and actively participate in emulation movements, especially building a new life.
