Provincial People's Council passes 15 resolutions on socio-economic development

In her opening speech, Hong noted that in the first three months of this year, the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth reached 8.4% , ranking 8th in the country. Bac Giang led the country in foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction with over 855 million USD. Good results were also seen in socio-cultural fields.
At the session, participants reached high consensus on the meaning and necessity of drafting and issuing resolutions. All provincial People's Council members voted to approve 15 draft resolutions, including those on approving the detailed construction planning scheme for Quang Chau 2 Industrial Park in Viet Yen district, (scale 1/500); the subdivision construction planning scheme for expanded Yen Lu Industrial Park in Yen Dung district (scale 1/2000); and the subdivision construction planning scheme for Chau Minh - Bac Ly - Huong Lam Industrial Park in Hiep Hoa district (scale 1/2000).

Speaking at the event, Thanh said that the adopted resolutions are an important premise and legal basis to solve many problems related to the province's socio-economic development in 2023 and the 2021-2025 period. She asked the provincial People's Committee, agencies at all levels, sectors, localities and units to focus on expeditiously and synchronously deploying solutions.
They should do the good job of disseminating the resolutions; allocate resources for and urge, inspect and guide the implementation of the planning schemes; and promptly remove difficulties and problems, ensuring the highest efficiency, she said.
