Seojin System project suspended at Song Khe Noi Hoang Industrial Park

(BGO) – The Department of Natural Resources and Environment in the northern province of Bac Giang has issued the letter to request Seojin System Company (Republic of Korean) to suspend the construction of Seojin Vietnam factory in Song Khe Noi Hoang Industrial Park because its environmental impact assessment report (EIAR) was not approved.

The investor will be allowed to restart the project only if the authority approves for EIRA and all requirements on environmental protection are fulfilled.

Seojin System Company was granted with the investment certificate to the factory in early March 2019 by the Management Board of the provincial Industrial Parks.

The approved project covers nearly 39 ha with a total investment of about 100 million USD. The factory is specialized at manufacturing, fabricating and recycling metal, iron, aluminium and electronic equipment with capacity of over 800,000 products per year.
