The construction of Xuan Thien Ea Sup Solar Power Plant began in April 2020 and its first phase was completed after 205 days.

The second phase of the project is expected to be completed in early 2022, raising the total capacity of the plant to 2,000 MWac/2,800 MWp, which will provide approximately 5 billion kWh of electricity to the national grid each year.

The implementation of the power project in Ea Sup District is expected to help the local stabilise their lives and production, contributing to creating jobs, protecting the border security, and ensuring power security.
