Strategic cooperation in training human resources for the semiconductor IC industry

SUN EDU International Education Joint Stock Company and Thu Dau Mot University (in Binh Duong Province) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on strategic cooperation for the development of high-quality human resources in the field of electronics and semiconductor integrated circuits (IC) in the Southeast region, at a ceremony held in Binh Duong Province on December 26.

The two sides will focus on developing advanced training programmes, providing not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills for students, thereby enhancing their capacity and helping them become high-quality experts in the field of electronics and semiconductor IC.

In addition, developing a training programme for semiconductor IC engineers at Thu Dau Mot University is an important part of the cooperation plan. This programme will be comprehensively designed to meet increasingly strict requirements from the labour market and industry, helping students gain the in-depth knowledge and skills to succeed in their careers.

The two sides also committed to supporting research and technology development in the field of electronics and semiconductor IC through creating favourable conditions for research activities, innovation projects and technology transfer, towards contributing to promoting the progress of the electronics and semiconductor IC industry, as well as economic development in the Southeast region.

Currently, SUN EDU International Education Joint Stock Company is one of the training units in electronic and semiconductor fields, specialising in providing high-quality training solutions and consulting services for universities and educational institutions.

Previously, SUN EDU successfully cooperated with the Training Centre under the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) Management Board to establish the Electronics and Semiconductor Centre (ESC), inaugurated on September 6.

In addition, SUN EDU Company worked with the National Innovation Centre under the Ministry of Planning and Investment to open a Semiconductor Design Centre on October 28. Thu Dau Mot University was formerly known as Binh Duong Pedagogical College.

Over the past 47 years of establishment and development, including nearly 15 years of multi-disciplinary and multi-field undergraduate and post-graduate training, the university has carried out its mission of providing quality human resources to serve socio-economic development and international integration of Binh Duong Province, the Southeast region and the entire southern key economic region. It has become a research consulting centre in the region.
