Now, the district has about 82 hectares of Danh mountain ginseng that can be harvested the flowers, leaves and roots mostly in the communes of Viet Lap, Lien Chung, An Duong and Quang Tien.

In 2023, the district strives to plant 31 hectares of new ginseng in the above localities and expand the area in communes of Ngoc Van, Lan Gioi, Tan Trung, Lien Son, Hop Duc, Cao Thuong town...

According to the district Division of Agriculture and Rural Development, up to now, the locality has completed the plan to expand the ginseng growing area. Currently, many households continue to sowing seeds. It is expected that by the end of 2023, the district will grow about 40 hectares more of the ginseng, exceeding the set plan.

Identifying this ginseng as one of the key plants, the local competent agencies have paid attention to directing and guiding people to actively grow this plant to replace some types of crops in inefficiently cultivated areas while following VietGAP, GlobalGAP and organic orientation and promoting production linkage to create raw material areas for deep processing.
