Tay Yen Tu yellow apricot supplied to Tet market

(BGO) – After years of cultivation, the
hi-tech plantation of Tay Yen Tu yellow apricot in Bieng village, An Lac
commune, Son Dong district (Bac Giang province) has supplied the flower to the
market on the 2020 Lunar New Year occasion.
More than 100 out of 2,360 trees were ordered by the customers in the province and other localities of Hanoi and Quang Ninh, each worth 1 – 1.5 million VND (43 – 65 USD).

The model is implemented with hi-tech application by the joint collaboration between the Division of Agriculture and Rural Development in Son Dong district, Research and Development Center of Flower and Ornamental Tree (Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute).
The hundred year old trees have beautiful yellow flower, especially on Tet occasion as the precious and rare ornamental tree in the nature that are now over exploited.
