Two Bac Ninh youth union officials receive national “October 15” award
BAC NINH – Two officials from Bac Ninh Province were honored with the 2025 “October 15” Award by the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee on October 11, marking the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Federation’s founding (1956–2025).
The recipients are Nguyen Thi Huong, born in 1993, Secretary of the Youth Union and Chairwoman of the Youth Federation of Hiep Hoa Commune and Hoang My Linh, born in 1994, Secretary of the Youth Union and Chairwoman of the Youth Federation of Bac Giang Ward.

Both are recognized for their dynamism, creativity and contributions to the “I Love My Country” campaign, which inspires local youth to serve the community.
Huong is known for leading digital transformation initiatives at the grassroots level. She established 11 volunteer teams with over 500 members to assist more than 3,500 residents in accessing online public services.
Her projects—such as the “Digital Library with QR Smart Access,” “Cashless Wedding,” and “Cashless Market”—have helped promote digital literacy and cultural accessibility. She also organized free swimming classes and charity programmes worth over 260 million VND to support disadvantaged students.
Linh, meanwhile, has been praised for her initiative to increase Party membership among high school students, resulting in 131 new Party members in 2024, including 33 students.
She also led digital service campaigns, forming volunteer teams to help residents complete online administrative procedures. Each weekend, Linh joins volunteers going door to door to guide citizens in using digital services and applying for social benefits.
The “October 15” Award is one of the highest honors granted by the Vietnam Youth Federation to recognize outstanding youth leaders for their dedication and achievements in youth work and community development.
