The launch ceremony was held in Cau Giay Ward, Ha Noi, and linked with eight other locations: Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, An Giang, Thai Nguyen and Cao Bang.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Minh Triet, President of the Vietnamese Students Association, said that the volunteer campaign will take place in July and August, with a focus on 286 communes, wards and special zones in border areas.

During the first week from July 1-7, the campaign has produced positive results.

In Ha Noi, over 3,700 volunteers have supported citizens to fill in forms at public administration service centres while in Ho Chi Minh City, the youth have been active in enhancing digital skills for senior citizens.

The youth of the People’s Public Security force also established more than 1,000 teams to organise digital literacy sessions with the participation of hundreds of thousands of people.

Following the launch ceremony, volunteer teams quickly got down to supporting people at public administration service centres and single-window units at wards and communes.
