Vibrant cultural and sports activities at Danh temple festival
BAC GIANG – Lien Chung Communal People's Committee on February 16 (lunar January 19) organized a ceremony to open Danh Temple Festival and the 10th Commune Sports Festival on at Danh Temple, Hau Village, Lien Chung Commune (Tan Yen district of Bac Giang province).
Danh Temple was established during the Le Dynasty, worshiping Saint Cao Son - Quy Minh, who helped the 18th Hung King fight the enemy.

The temple is located on the top of Danh Mountain, 117 meters above sea level, surrounded by lush pine and eucalyptus forests. Danh Temple was ranked as a provincial historical and cultural relic in 2006.
The Danh temple complex currently has 3 temples (Trinh temple, Thuong temple and Ha temple). Of which, Ha temple is located in Viet Lap commune; the remaining two temples are located in Lien Chung commune.
Danh Temple Festival is held on lunar January 19 and 20 every year with the ritual of processing the god from Vuong communal house to Danh temple. This is an important ritual to pray for a year of favorable weather, bumper crop, and good health for the people, happy families and peaceful villages.

On this occasion, the Commune People's Committee launched the 10th Sports Festival which promoted the movement of regular physical practice among people to work, study, build and protect the Fatherland in the current period.
Within the framework of the program, delegates offered incense at the Thuong Temple, attended the worship ceremony, and opened some competitions of the Sports Festival and many cultural and artistic activities.

BAC GIANG- On February 10 evening (the 13th day of the first lunar month), the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the people’s committee of Luc Nam district held the opening ceremony of the 6th festival for “the practices related to the Viet beliefs in the Mother Goddesses of Three Realms” in Bac Giang province in 2025 at Suoi Mo tourism site in Nghia Phuong commune, Luc Nam district.
BAC GIANG- The provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province on the morning of February 9 solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Culture-Tourism Week and Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival themed "Sacred Tay Yen Tu" at the Tay Yen Tu spiritual- ecotourism complex (Son Dong district).
The Yen Tu Spring Festival in the northern province of Quang Ninh attracted nearly 20,000 domestic and foreign visitors on its opening day (February 7).
