The event has been implemented by VSI since 2016 and organized centrally and uniformly nationwide since 2022, helping present tens of thousands of social insurance books, hundreds of thousands of health insurance cards to promptly encourage workers and people nationwide.

This year, the VSI received sponsorship from 7 businesses with a total amount of more than 13.3 billion VND (about 570,000 USD) to give insurance books and cards to the beneficiaries.

At the program, VSI donated 26 Social Insurance Books to disadvantaged people in Tan Yen district, each book costs from 792,000 VND to 990,000 VND, equivalent to 3 months of social insurance payment and 36 Health Insurance Cards to people from difficult households with a total amount of nearly 21 million VND.

Speaking at the program, Deputy General Director of VSI Dao Viet Anh emphasized that the VSI’s small gifts contribute to sharing material and spiritual resources, helping needy cases reduce the burden of medical examination and treatment costs thanks to health insurance cards; have the opportunity to participate in voluntary social insurance to receive pension and health care in old age.
